ONE HECK OF A PARTY.
Boston Sports Desk traveled to Foxwoods with 20 WEEI listeners and their guests last night for an “All-Star” Party. WEEI and Foxwoods are celebrating Red Sox Green Monster Month and they kicked it off with a major bash.
The group was treated to an evening at The High Rollers Lounge which featured 10-pin bowling, open bar and menu and of course, MLB’s All-Star Game on six large screens. Guest hosts for the evening were Lou Merloni and Mike Mutnanski AKA “Mut and Merloni” 10-2 weekdays on EEI.
The mid-day hosts were on their “A” Game, talking sports with the winners and offering candid and frank thoughts on all matters Boston and nationally. This whole idea came about months ago when Foxwoods approached EEI Marketing Director Bill Alfano. “The offer was too good to pass up ! “, said Alfano. “Foxwoods is a great partner to work with. They always do things first class.”.
A perfect grouping….Foxwoods, the Red Sox and WEEI all coming together to throw a party for MLB’s All-Star game….and the winners were very grateful ! “I think Lou (Merloni) and I had just as much fun as the winners did,” said Mut after he finished his mid day show which was being broadcast live from Foxwoods.
