HANNA PATTIE JOINS BOSTON SPORTS DESK

Hey readers!

My name is Hanna Pattie, and I am the new media intern for Boston Sports Desk.   With BSD I will be covering the Bruins, and will later expand to teams such as the Revolution and Cannons.

I am currently a senior at Stonehill College, focusing my studies on journalism and graphic design. Here at Stonehill, I created a custom major titled ‘multimedia journalism & design’. My motive for breaking away from the norm, was the hope to acquire a job in the media world after graduation. This has been a lot of extra work, but catering my major to what I want to do in the future is worth every second. 

Here at Stonehill, I am currently captain of the Stonehill Equestrian team, and have been riding hunter/jumper competitively for the past 17 years. Other than riding, lacrosse was also my game of choice growing up. I played on travel teams, and high school varsity, until I had to quit when I entered college. To stay with the game, I have assisted in coaching seventh and eighth grade girls, in Newburyport. As lifelong residents of Massachusetts, my family has always been fanatical about Boston sports. My love for our hometown teams, the Bruins in particular, budded from a very young age. Here at Boston Sports Desk, I am thrilled to be a new member, and immerse myself in an area I am so interested in.  

These next few months, I will be providing inside access on games, practices, and current news within the organizations.  Apart from the written stories, videos, photos, and interviews will give you a first hand look on what is really going on.
