Multiple sources have told Boston Sports Desk that the Columbus Blue Jackets (CBJ) are extremely close to sending Rick Nash to the San Jose Sharks. A deal could be in place by late Friday morning.
Columbus has spent much of the day on the phone talking to the L.A Kings and the Sharks. It has also been rumored that the New York Rangers have gotten in on the talks,
About an hour ago, the Kings acquired Jeff Carter from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for defenceman Jack Johnson and a first round draft pick. The deal is pending Carter passing a physical on Friday.
