BRUINS FIFTH ANNUAL “PJ DRIVE” KICKS OFF WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 1 PRESENTED

BOSTON, MA – Beginning Tuesday, February 1, the Boston Bruins, Cradles
to Crayons and AT&T are teaming up to host the Fifth Annual PJ Drive for
Massachusetts’ children in need. Throughout the month of February,
Bruins’ fans, families, schools and corporations are encouraged to
donate new, unused pajamas for underprivileged children statewide. Fans
can drop off pajamas at 77 AT&T retail store locations throughout New
England. See below for the participating AT&T stores.
This year, AT&T is offering fans the chance to text a $5 donation to
help support the Bruins PJ Drive. Fans can text PJ to 27722 and be
automatically entered to win a chance to shop for PJ’s with a Boston
Bruins player in February. Texting contest ends February 5, 2012.
On Saturday, February 11, Boston Bruins will be hosting their in-game
collection during the Bruins/Predators game at 1 :00 p.m. In addition to
helping children in need, fans choosing to participate will receive a
raffle ticket for each pair of pajamas donated for the chance to win
Boston Bruins team autographed memorabilia.
There are a number of ways to get involved with the 2012 PJ Drive:
School Participation:
This year, schools statewide are invited to participate in the
collections. All grade levels K-5 are welcome to sign-up. The class that
collects the most pajamas wins an in-school visit to their classroom
from a Bruins player and the Bruins mascot, Blades. All of the

Youth Hockey Participation:
This year youth hockey teams throughout the state are invited to
participate in the collection. The youth hockey team that collects the
largest amount of pajamas will win an on-ice youth hockey clinic with
the Bruins Youth Hockey Development staff.
Online Donations:
For members of the community looking to participate but are unable to
make it to the Bruins game or AT&T can make a monetary donation online
at www.bostonbruins.com/pjdrive. A gift of $25 provides one child with a
pair of fuzzy pajamas, one week’s worth of warm clothing, educational
toys, bedtime stories, and a comfort blanket.
